A double time approach on both remixes, Platurn & Max Macveety reimagined the two 80s classics from both a dub and funk standpoint, finessing the original masters ever so slightly to accentuate the re-drumming and dig even deeper into a groove not so obviously excavated in either track. The result is something oddly natural from the DJ side of things and perfectly appropriate from a deep [pocket] drummer's standpoint.
